I’m sure most of you know this song, and many of you are probably tired of it, but hey…I can’t get tired of Christmas.
I pretty much have everything I need, save for a few small stocking stuffer type things. And by that, I mean the little chocolates and such that I put in with people’s gifts.
Also, the hot chocolate on a stick idea that I talked about in a previous post turned out pretty nicely. I plan to wrap these in some cellophane and add a bow for the perfect finishing touch. I’ll probably give them out with peppermint candy canes, so people can make peppermint hot chocolate if they wish.
Thinking about different things I can make for people and how I can put together great presents within my limited budget can be difficult, but it’s always fun. Browsing the stores and trying to think of creative ways to package things and then that moment when an idea hits…it’s all part of the fun of the holidays.
Anyways, I hope you all are having a great holiday season so far…Christmas is so soon…I simply can’t wait!
Well, well, WordPress…seems like we can never truly get along. We can only cherish the time that the fragile truce between us lasts.
Anyways, the times on the “Scheduled Posts” under the “Change Status” is pretty confusing. Sometimes when I click, “Publish Immediately”, the date on the post isn’t today’s date but tomorrow’s. So I choose to have it published immediately and it basically publishes itself in the future. How that works is beyond me.
And then when I try to schedule it, I can never tell exactly what time to put in. Because sometimes I schedule it for tomorrow and it posts right away (Sorry about that…not sure why that happens)…so I change the time. And it doesn’t change. Not even when I change the time by what I think is 6 hours. And then the time reverts.
So, basically, the time is just really confusing. I’m trying my best, though. And at least this doesn’t actually affect much.
“Feels like the time that had followed us also stopped. More than us, I guess we’re now you and I.” (BEAST-12:30)
This was pretty different from a lot of BEAST’s previous songs, which were a bit more upbeat and well…pop-py. Not quite sure how to describe it.
Anyhow, I liked the change…the music video was pretty good, with the clock and everything. And the lyrics? Well…I thought they were really nice. Especially that comparison with the clock hands. The line above was the one that stuck with me the most, though.
There are so many amazing music videos and songs coming out these days…it’s almost a little difficult to keep track. But it’s worth it…so much new music…all so good. But all the new albums I want…not so good for my wallet.
There are a lot of cheerful songs, and I love them, but it’s always the sad ones that stick with me…maybe I just have a thing for sad songs or something.
Anyways, I’ll leave you guys, as usual, I’ll leave you guys with another lyric from the song…something a little more hopeful:
“I believe that [time] will start flowing again like us, I believe that time will come like that. Even though I’m letting go right now, I’m letting go of you, even though everything has stopped. I believe that the broken clock will move again.”
Hey everyone! So…I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving dinner, and got to spend time with your families.
I’m just here to post about K-Pop…since I haven’t really done much of that since starting this blog, and there’s a lot to talk about right now!
Luhan leaving EXO, Lee Joon and Thunder leaving MBLAQ, Sungmin getting married (That’s a good thing, though…unless he leaves Super Junior because of it, but let’s not think about that)…but I decided to focus on the positives instead.
Like all the comebacks we’ve had lately! SPICA and B2ST are coming back soon, and even Big Bang may make a comeback sometime soon (But then again, there’s always rumours about that)…and both BOYFRIEND and VIXX have released new music videos, both with amazing concepts!
But the VIXX one…just totally blew my mind. The MV had an amazing plot, even though it was so short, the concept is another one of my favourites (Second only to ‘Hyde’) and the song is really good, too. Honestly, I’m still getting over how amazing that music video was. It was just…if you haven’t seen it yet, you should definitely check it out.
VIXX always comes out with amazing concepts and music videos, even though they can sometimes be a little creepy (‘Voodoo Doll’, anyone?) but I really love them. Looks like there will be even more albums I’ll have my eye on…which probably isn’t good, considering that I still have to buy my winter skincare stuff and am sort of broke right now…
Despite all of the bad things happening in K-Pop right now (And all of the talk about 2014 being cursed, and can’t it be over already?), at least there are some things to bring our spirits up a little!
